Ingredients:
- 2 cups chopped Vidalia onions
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Set the oven to 350F 175C and heat it up
Put olive oil in a pan and heat it over medium-low heat
It will take about 15 to 20 minutes of cooking after adding the chopped onions until the onions turn caramelized
Take it off the heat and let it cool down
Put sour cream, mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, and caramelized onions in a bowl and mix them together
Combine well
Add pepper and salt to taste
Put the mixture in a baking dish and make sure it's spread out evenly
Warm the oven up and put the dip in it
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the top is bubbly and golden brown
Take it out of the oven and let it cool down a bit before you serve it
Warm it up and serve it with your favorite crackers or chips
