Ingredients:
- 1 lb penne pasta
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup water
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 zucchini, diced
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese optional
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish optional
Instructions:
Add penne pasta, marinara sauce, water, onion, garlic, bell pepper, zucchini, mushrooms, dried basil, dried oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper into the Instant Pot
Secure the lid and set the Instant Pot to Manual mode for 6 minutes at high pressure
Once the cooking cycle is complete, perform a quick pressure release
Carefully open the lid and stir the pasta mixture
Serve hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil leaves if desired
